Brett Martin’s flat polycarbonate range is an excellent alternative for metal and glass used in the automotive industry. With up to 75% of fuel consumption being related to the weight of vehicles, more and more car manufacturers are turning to polycarbonate due to its light weight characteristic. Marlon FS® is a clear, transparent flat sheet polycarbonate which provides 200 times more impact resistance than glass at only half the weight. It can be thermoformed, fabricated and cold curved and provides high impact resistance and scratch resistance (take out or change to marlon FS hard), making it the perfect choice for sunroofs and windows.
